iZettle - The Evolution of a Brand

iZettle has always focused on the small business owner, the user, with an emphasis on design and a strong brand experience.

When acquired by PayPal, the Creative and Brand teams' most important task was to ensure that we could maintain the iZettle brand as intact as possible, including the logotype, symbol, typography and colors. Studies supported this decision, as many customers had chosen iZettle based on the brand.

In the first phase we added an endorser part, 'A PayPal Service', to the existing logotype, and in the second phase, we rebranded as Zettle by PayPal. This was followed by a global campaign and the launch of our new communication concept, "Made for More."
